Why? Why don't people just advertise stuff properly instead of all that 'possibly for sale', 'gauging interest' 'might sell' nonsense? I'll bloody well tell you why, it's because they are hoping someone will offer them hundreds/thousands over what it's worth that's why. It's either for sale or it's not for sale, simple.
While I'm on how about begging adverts? It could just be me but after the generosity shown to RFChris I reckon I've seen at least one advert where they are blatantly hoping and hinting for the same. Nowt to do with Chris, his advert was genuine and people realised his plight.
Rant over, off to play with my new phone.

I know what you mean a certain person on RR asked me if I would swap my car that was for sale for his, I agreed then he told me he wanted to keep it because his wife was going to tax it as a xmas present. Then I get a PM saying change of plan they now need a washing machine so the money's going on that but still wants to keep the car?   Then he posts a link to ebay no reserve, it gets bids but not enough , he pulls the auction before it ends then posts it back up on RR asking for swaps. TO$$ER |
